Here are some of the questions we have received most frequently regarding the process of accepting and declining offers:
Should I Accept My Round 1 Offer?
The Principal Discretion application for Selective Enrollment High Schools is now available. Applicants to ninth grade can apply to a Selective Enrollment school through the Principal Discretion process if they took the Selective Enrollment admissions exam, applied to a Selective Enrollment school in Round 1, and (1) did not receive a Selective Enrollment offer, or (2) received a Selective Enrollment offer but would like to be considered for a different Selective Enrollment school. You do not need to decline a first-round offer in order to participate in the Principal Discretion process. All Principal Discretion applications must be received by the Office of Access and Enrollment no later than Friday, April 20, 2018 at 6 p.m. CST.
To apply through the Principal Discretion process, please review this handbook and FAQ.
