McPherson IB World School prioritizes effective and transparent communication between our school and families through a comprehensive Family Communications Plan. Check out the four components of our plan:
- Points of Contact
- Outbound Communications
- Inbound Communications
- Protocols for Email and Meetings
Most Frequent Communications
- The school calendar serves as a central reference for important dates and events.
- Regular updates are shared through the family newsletter, offering insights into school-wide initiatives and activities.
- Programmatic newsletters provide information on specific academic programs and activities.
- The lunch menu is accessible to keep families informed about daily meal options.
- The Aspen parent portal offers real-time access to grades, assignments, and school announcements.
- Reporting an absence is streamlined through a designated process, ensuring timely communication regarding student attendance.
Additionally, individual teachers maintain communication protocols through which they share classroom-specific updates, assignments, and progress reports, fostering a collaborative and informed educational environment. Visit our Staff Directory to contact individual teachers.
